Lisa Koenigsberg

Lisa holds graduate degrees in history from The Johns Hopkins University and in American Studies from Yale University. A consultant to museums, galleries, and other cultural institutions, she serves on boards of trustees/directors including those of the Morris–Jumel Mansion and the New York Silver Society.

Prior to founding IAC, served as director of Programs in the Arts and adjunct professor of arts, NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies. She has held positions at the Museum of the City of New York, the American Museum of Natural History, and New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission, served as guest curator at the Worcester Art Museum and the Yale University Art Gallery and has lectured at such institutions as the State Art Collections of Dresden, NYU, the Smithsonian Institution, the Norton Museum of Art, and the UN. She has organized and chaired sessions at the Society of Architectural Historians, American Association of Museums, and for the Aspen Institute.
