I have been an advocate for size diversity, inclusivity, accessibility and all the myriad of fashion underdogs that need to be recognized, appreciated for their uniquenss and brought into the fashion fold. As one of the first plus size models in the early 80s, I segued from modeling into image consulting by studying the Image Program at Parsons School of Design and becoming a professional image consultant in 2000. I am the Image and Style Advisor for a charity outreach for women with diabetes called Divabetic and I teach special size and shape fashion at F.I.T. and have added sustainability into my advocacy with hiTechMODA: Fashion Forward Innovation where we produce a seasonal fashion event during NYFW. I am a brand ambassador for Global Fashion Exchange and Common Objective and an advisory board member of Fashion Week Brooklyn.
