Luz Barbosa, Founder of Stella Lucchi began designing jewelry in 2011. She started out styling models' jewelry during photo shoots and her passion for developing her own pieces grew from there. She began upcycling vintage and pieces of broken fast fashion jewelry and weaving them in with raw surplus materials. Keeping unwanted jewelry out of landfills is her goal. Luz loves to work with metal, leather, crystals, stones, and pearls mainly but loves to incorporate other materials. Her work ranges from simple and delicate to complex and edgy. Luz also worked as a bridal stylist and this broadened her vision to develop bridal headpieces and jewelry. Her bridal work is on-demand and made to fit each bride's unique style. After sourcing vintage jewelry for upcycling and for her personal collection for many years, Luz has decided to resell some of her curated vintage jewelry. Luz also sells secondhand clothing for clients on commission. Luz loves thrifting and clothing swaps, she believes in finding beauty in what's already out there in this world and upcyling what doesn't work for you. She is passionate about Sustainable Fashion and it encompasses her personal and professional life.
